Walking Man Brewery is a quaint gathering spot in Stevenson, WA that makes a great place to grab one of their award winning beers and pub fare. Popular with the kite boaders and wind surfers the brewery can be quite the happening spot in the fair weather! There were no less than a dozen countries represented on the patio last summer – all in the Gorge for the wonderful wind and of course the fun and beer at Walking Man Brewery.
Full of friendly waitresses and just a little bit of everything on the patio you will most likely leave Walking Man with a smile and a story to boot. If you happen by on a Friday evening you will be treated to the quirky sounds of bagpipe revelry. Anywhere from one to five local bagpipers meet in the open meadow next door to Walking Man every Friday to play. Afterwards they wander over to the patio and are often greeted by a rousing round of applause from the appreciative patrons.
Plenty of food is available – surprisingly fresh and tasty hummus platter with crisp veggies and creamy hummus is a favorite. Or order up fish tacos, a delicious chicken pesto sandwich or one of their artisan pizzas.
