Dog Friendly Cabins
If you are looking for dog friendly cabins near Portland, Oregon or along the Columbia Gorge, we are a perfect getaway.
The Gorge Awaits You and Your Furry Friend
Look no further if youâre looking for dog-friendly lodging in the Columbia River Gorge. Our cabins are just half an hour from Hood River, one hour from Portland, and minutes away from countless outdoor activities. Enjoy dog-friendly Washington State cabins that are perfectly situated for you and your furry friend to explore the area.
A decadent queen bed, cozy gas fireplace, jetted tub, and more await you! Our Knotty Pine Cabin and Northern Territory Cabin are equipped to accommodate two adults and up to two mature dogs. Enjoy a luxurious stay in rustic Washington beauty with your trusted companion by your side.
Dog-Friendly Cabin Amenities
We know what a treat it is to have your furry friend along on your adventures. Thatâs why, in addition to all the luxuries our cabins have to offer, weâve added some special touches to make you feel more at home.
Fido Bucket
Upon your arrival, youâll find a Fido goodie bucket in your cabin. We love pups as much as you. Watching tails wag when you give your little buddy a snack gets everyone grinning from ear to ear. Since extra doggie-care items can make pet care easier, youâll find treats, pet towels, a doggie throw, and water dish, too.
Doggie Concierge
If youâre coming to the Gorge and arenât sure where to go with Fido, weâll happily share our favorite pet-friendly outings in the area. (Hood Riverâs dog-friendly beach is a favorite in the summer, for example!)
Weâve also compiled a few ideas for you in our Dog Loverâs Guide to the Columbia River Gorge. Have a read for more pointers on pup-friendly dining, area activities and more.
In-Cabin Breakfast Option
Donât want to leave your dog alone when you go for breakfast? Our bed and breakfast cabin service will deliver straight to your door for an additional fee. Thatâs right! Enjoy your morning with a homemade 3-course breakfast in the comfort of your pajamas and Barkley at your side. We wonât tell if you share a nibble under the table, either!
Furry Friend's Fee
Those fur-babyâs sure can track in the great outdoors, therefore we have a $35 per dog/per night fee.
Dog-Friendly Cabin Policies
We are pleased to welcome your clean, bathed and a well-behaved dog here at Carson Ridge. To keep the vacation experience enjoyable for all visitors, we have some dog-friendly lodging policies in place in addition to our standard cabin policies. Weâll go over these at check-in, but the following is a preview of the doggie ground rules to have Fido on the property.
- Dogs must be announced at the time of booking.
- A per-night, per-dog pet fee will be added to the total of your stay.
- Up to two mature, house-trained dogs are allowed with your stay. Even though we love âem, we donât allow puppies.
- Dogs must be leashed, always carried in your arms or in a secure carrier while theyâre on the property.
- Dogs are not to climb or sleep on beds or other furniture.
- Guests should bring their own needed dog bedding/kennel, dog food and dishes.
- Dogs cannot be left unattended in the cabin except for when youâre having breakfast in the lodge.
- Guests are asked to pick up after their dog. Dog receptacles are conveniently located on the property.
- Pet owners are liable for any damages created by their pets, including injury to others, lost cabin revenue due to repair times and odor removal or disturbances caused by loud, continuous barking. Charges will be applied to the guest’s credit card on file if necessary.
- If a guest books a stay for themselves and their dog in a cabin that IS NOT a designated pet-friendly cabin, we have the right to terminate the reservation if we canât accommodate your stay in one of our designated dog-friendly cabins. The guest will be charged the full amount of their reservation that had to be terminated.
Book Your Dog-Friendly Stay
You canât go wrong with either of our dog-friendly lodging choices. Both private cabins offer secluded porches with swing, gorgeous views, and other luxuries.
If youâre looking for a small kitchenette for cooking, be sure to check out Knotty Pine.
Remember to book direct with us and ask about our lodging specials for the best rates.
âWe wanted a place to stay over Thanksgiving, where we could go on hikes with our dog and get some peace and quiet. I canât speak more highly about our stay at Carson Ridge Luxury Cabins. The breakfasts were so filling we didnât need lunch, and every need was tended too. The location is beautiful, and the nearby hikes are among the best in the PNW. Loved, loved, loved it!â
