Local, Creative and Award Winning
Solstice Wood Fire Cafe & Bar is pretty much a household name around these parts. Opening their doors in Bingen, WA in February 2007, it quickly became a local favorite, earning the attention of the Food Network Magazine. In September 2011 the Country Girl Cherry pizza, which combines cherries from the Columbia River Gorge region paired with chorizo sausage and goat cheese, topped off with a sprinkle of rosemary and thyme, earned the distinction of one of the top 50 pizza pies in America!
Getting Bigger and Better
December 2013 brought the debut of their new location in Hood River. Eagerly anticipated and highly supported by a Kick Starter Campaign, Solstice continues to endear itself to everyone who visits. Suzanne and Aaron, proprietors, just cannot hit a bad note!
Enjoy the Variety
Whether you are noshing on a pizza baked to perfection in the imported Italian wood fire oven, one of the seasonal chef’s entrees, hearty soups, grilled burgers, Columbia River salmon tacos, crispy wood-fired chicken or their famous Moroccan Beef Stew the food always leaves you amazed and delighted!
