Located in the Columbia River Gorge, Jacob Williams Winery has been producing delectable blends since 2007. What started off as a small, temporary production facility has blossomed into an award-winning winery. Brad, the founder, and John, a 40+ year winemaking veteran, have been producing fine wines from the onsite vineyard.
Jacob Williams Winery has a stunning tasting room. It couldn’t be located in a better spot. The tasting room overlooks the Columbia River, but that’s not all. You can see Mount Hood in the distance, and rolling fields full of grape vines add beautiful greenery to the landscape. You can spend hours sipping on your favorite wine and taking in the views.
Tasting isn’t all that is offered at the winery. You can also tour the property. Begin your tour with a wine tasting complimented by a charcuterie board. See the barrel room and production facility with one of the expert winemakers Each tour is kept small so it can be personalized. Our favorite part? A wine sample right out of the barrel!
The tasting room schedule varies depending on the time of year. The schedule is as follows:
March – November: Open daily from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
June – September: Open daily from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
December – February: Open Thursday – Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Each wine featured at Jacob Williams Winery is made in limited quantities so they can make sure each batch is of utmost quality. Because they are made in such small amounts, the list changes from time to time. Usually, there is chardonnay, cabernet sauvignon, pinot noir, merlot, syrah, cabernet franc, Zinfandel, and a special red blend.
