During the spring and summer, you’ll speed by colorful fruit tree blossoms and wildflowers. In autumn, it’s the perfect way to see the amazing fall foliage.

When you go on the Mount Hood Railroad, you’ll be brought to the small town of Parkdale. Here, passengers can unload to enjoy the grassy park area. We recommend ordering a catered lunch beforehand so you can picnic outdoors! You will also find the Hutson Museum. If you have time after your picnic, you can come and learn all about the rocks, gems, and minerals of our area and see artifacts from the Native Americans and pioneers.
