Maryhill State Park Campgrounds & Water Activities
The campgrounds at Maryhill State Park are quite popular for lounging during the day in an Eno while watching the river flow by. Join a community of campers, hikers, cyclists, and outdoor adventurers for a collaborative exploration of the park. Or, start here and branch out on your own expedition. This heavily trafficked location is also a great spot to pick out fresh fruit at local stands or roast some marshmallows over a bonfire. Maryhill State Park fishing is another popular activity to enjoy at this location, along with viewing replicated Stonehenge. Several visitors will even take a swim in the river here or hop on wave runners and skate along the water during the warm, summer months. The campgrounds feature day use areas for boaters and sailboaters as well. There are also covered picnic areas for barbecuing and eating.
Then, after a day in nature, return to your luxury cabin at Carson Ridge for a relaxing night indoors.
One of the best parts of Maryhill State Park is that you can enjoy a glass of wine right down the street. At Maryhill Winery, you will encounter delicious wine as well as some legendary acts playing as part of the famous local summer concert series. This series is held at the beautiful amphitheater venue on the grounds of the winery. From Steve Winwood and The Doobie Brothers to Boz Scaggs and Santana, listen to incredible music while sipping world-class wine. You will discover gorgeous vineyards near the Maryhill State Park as well, including some right on the Columbia River. The Gunkel Family Vineyards, Alder Ridge Vineyard, Art den Hoed Vineyard, Celilo Vineyard, and more all provide grapes to the Maryhill Winery. And with 50 award-winning wines, Maryhill Winery reveals the full breadth of local wine country. The Maryhill Museum of Art is another favorite attraction near the state park!
