Here at our Hood River Inn we’re big fans of microbrewed beer. So we’re excited that one of our favorite Portland beer festival returns with the annual Hood River Hops Fest! It’s a bit earlier than usual this year, scheduled for Saturday September 29th from noon to 9pm.
Whether you prefer a refreshing pilsner, a hearty dark stout or something with a bit of fruit to it, the Hood River Hops Fest is the place to find your next new-favorite beer!
Hops Fest marks the beginning of the Portland area’s fall season of beer-centric events, all designed to showcase our wealth of home-grown brews. The Pacific Northwest started the microbrew craze, you know.
You won’t miss the huge pavilion tent in the middle of town. Inside you’ll find a plethora of beers to sample, including brews from several of our favorite Columbia River Gorge breweries. You’ll also find local foods, artwork and of course live music. All just down the road a short drive from our Hood River bed and breakfast.
Plan to make a day of it. Even better, why not plan to stay with us and make a weekend of it? Think of us as your headquarters to enjoy Hops Fest and everything else there is to do in the Gorge this fall. For one thing, you may want to visit some of our local brewpubs, once you’ve been introduced to them at Hops Fest. Think lunch or dinner, because most of them serve great food, too.
Follow the Hops Fest on Facebook to keep up with all the latest details. You can book your stay at our Hood River bed and breakfast online, too. We’ll look forward to seeing you for Hops Fest.
